It’s finally official, New York has new congressional maps that change the district Hakeem will be running in this year. Hakeem has been proud to represent the people of Brooklyn and is excited to welcome new constituents to the district.

So what does this change? And how does it impact our campaign?

Well what we know right now is that it means we have some new voters in our district who we need to reach out to. What it doesn’t change is Hakeem’s commitment to passing progressive and bipartisan solutions to the serious challenges our communities face.

However, it does mean your support is going to be even more important moving forward. We are going to need the resources to reach all of these new voters and get them out to vote in November.
