A year after Trump incited a mob that attacked the Capitol, for which he was later impeached by a team of impeachment managers I was proud to serve in, Donald Trump is raising a massive amount of money, and he is not even on the ballot this year.
Team, this is concerning. It is no secret that it takes resources to win in politics, and well, Trump’s supporters are falling in line and providing him with the resources to not only take the White House back in 2024, but also spend lavishly on his party as they plot to take the House back in November.
With the midterm election only 9 months away, the time is now to unite once again and stop increasingly far-right candidates led by Donald Trump from taking the House. Will you chip in whatever you can today and demonstrate to Trump that we will not let his race baiting politics take over Congress ever again? [[link removed]]
$122 million dollars is a lot of money. To put things into perspective, Trump’s war chest is more than double the cash on hand the Republican National Committee currently has, according to the New York Times.
As an impeachment manager last year, I witnessed 43 Republicans stand by Trump despite the clear case that we presented against him in the Senate chamber. And now, it’s clear that his supporters, the very same people that supported the riot he started at the Capitol, are not going to abandon him either.
