While the Biden-Harris administration is working tirelessly alongside
Congressional Democrats to undo the harm caused by the regressive politics
of the Trump presidency and move the country forward, the former president
is barnstorming the country in a blitz of rallies and speeches where he
continues to perpetuate the Big Lie and place blame on officials who
reject his baseless claims.

At a recent rally in Texas, Trump ratcheted up his dangerous rhetoric even
more.
Of the January 6 insurrectionists currently being charged and prosecuted
across the country, he said he would “treat them fairly” if he returned to
the White House, “And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons
because they are being treated so unfairly.” ^[1]
Feeling the walls closing in from multiple grand jury investigations –
around election tampering in Georgia, and the Trump family finances in New
York – Trump (once again resorting to lies and fearmongering) called for
“the biggest protests we have ever had [in this country]” if the “racist
prosecutors do anything wrong or illegal.” He went on to say, “They're not
after me, they're after you, and I just happen to be the person in the

By keeping his supporters energized, radicalized, and potentially inciting
future violence, Trump is gearing up to continue his assault on our
democracy for the 2024 elections – and is willing to do whatever it takes
to get his way.
