Duval County needs phone bankers for their ongoing At-Large Special Election for Jacksonville City Council. As you know, Republicans currently control all constitutional offices in Jacksonville, as well as a super majority on the City Council. However, Democrats have won the last two countywide elections in Duval and are pouring endless amounts of resources into this At-Large City Council race. Their Republican candidate, Nick Howland is a Navy veteran and businessman who has led a nonprofit to help end veteran suicide here in Florida. Nick is running against a radical, woke, Democrat, Tracye Polson who has run her campaign with the promise of defunding the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. As Duval REC Chairman Dean Black put it: “Tracye Polson wants to become the “AOC” of Florida.” With Duval County being a swing county, the stakes for this At-Large City Council Election are huge. The greatest hurdle in this race is that Republicans do not know there is an election! Turnout will be low so it’s imperative that we help Duval County get the word out to Republicans to vote for Nick Howland. The Duval GOP has set up a phone bank using campaign sidekick to target only Republican voters which they need help reaching.
