Happy weekend, friends!

A PERSONAL NOTE

 

So, it turns out, I'm a terrible urban gardener. My pots of herbs and
greens were thriving when I brought them in last fall and now.

Every.

Single.

One.

Is.

Dead.

All of them. Even stuff "nobody" can kill. I'll be rethinking my
apartment food production.

I've been learning to predict the weather using old-fashioned ways. The
sky the other morning was full of these stratocumulus clouds, and even
though the morning dawned sunny and warm, I predicted that a cold snap
and precipitation was on its way. We have had 3 snowfalls here in the
Carolinas in the past 3 weeks, and sure enough, the third one was the
day of the beautiful morning sky.

Nerd that I am, that's my new hobby. But, it's useful and doesn't
cost any money, so that works for me.
