It is now more than a year since the military attempted to seize power. Every day more people are killed and more people are arrested as the military desperately tries to stop resistance to their rule.
And thanks to your support, the British government has been leading the international response.
We have successfully campaigned for the British government to keep identifying and sanctioning sources of money and arms to the military.
We have successfully campaigned for the British government to lobby more countries to impose arms embargoes.
But there is much more that the British government can do. We need to keep up the pressure, and an effective way of doing that is through your MP.
Rushanara Ali, Chair of an official Parliamentary group of MPs supporting democracy in Burma, has tabled an Early Day Motion in the British Parliament, and we need as many MPs as possible to support it.
The Motion calls for British government action to impose more targeted sanctions, cut arms and aviation fuel to the military, take legal action against the military to hold them accountable for their crimes, and provide more aid to people fleeing attacks by the military.
