It shouldn’t be hard for our government to help people. But we keep
watching critical legislation get stalled and filibustered by the Mitch
McConnell Republicans in the Senate. It’s frustrating to watch, especially
when there’s so much to get done. And it’s a stark reminder of why we need
change, and need it now.

That’s why it’s imperative we elect a progressive like Peter to the
Senate. Peter’s been on the frontlines as Vermont’s congressman working to
protect our imperiled democracy, expand access to rural broadband, provide
affordable child care for working families, and lower the cost of
prescription drugs. He chooses governing over gridlock every time, and we
have to do everything we can to elect him and ensure Democrats keep
control of the Senate.

With control of the Senate on the line, Mitch McConnell and his national
Republican allies will do everything they can to try and buy this seat.
And with a Trump appointee exploring a run for this seat, we have no time
to waste. If we’re going to elect a Vermont progressive who will bring our
