John,

We were hopeful that we could celebrate together sooner rather than later, but due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 and the emerging variants, Equality Virginia's Board of Directors has decided to postpone the in-person Commonwealth Dinner from March 26th until this summer. The tickets for the dinner have also been temporarily paused while we confirm the new date, which we hope to announce in the coming weeks.

While we understand that this isn’t the outcome anyone hoped for, we are looking at this as a great opportunity to make the dinner an unforgettable night for the community. We'll use the additional time to plan a live-stream option, so supporters from every corner of Virginia who can’t attend in person can still view the evening’s main program from home!

We have created a frequently asked questions page about the dinner postponement that you can find by following this link. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the dinner do not hesitate to reach out.

We thank you for your understanding as we make this tough decision, and we look forward to seeing you this summer!

Sincerely,

Mario Guevara
Development & Operations Coordinator
