We’re bold, unapologetic truthtellers, and our fearless approach and radical questions shine through in this series of 7 images that illustrate how BCAction's board and staff moved through our internal strategic planning process.

Breast Cancer Action's strategic planning graphic notes were produced by the very talented Taslim van Hattum.

With these bright, dynamic, and hand-drawn images ([link removed]) you’ll gain insight into the vision for our work going forward, how our new mission statement is taking shape, and of course, the values guiding this work, including health justice, transparency and accountability, collective action, and anti-racism.

Our graphic notes give you a bit of insight into the questions we have asked ourselves about how we envision our radical work: Where have we been? Who are we now? Who do we show up for? Where are we going? And what will it take to get there?

In this sneak peek we’re displaying not only these critical questions we're asking of ourselves and the breast cancer movement at large, but also the systemic and social ecological factors we’re grappling with in defining our unique role as breast cancer activists and the industry watchdogs.
