MARCH ON is dedicated to increasing voter turnout and driving Democrats to the polls. Our data-driven solutions helped defeat Donald Trump in in 2020. Now, we're gearing up to hold the House and Senate in 2022 to advance our progressive agenda.

Dear friend,

Every week of Black History Month, we’ll be profiling a different Black woman in politics who inspires us to make progressive change!

This week, we’re celebrating Representative Cori Bush of St. Louis, Missouri.

Representative Bush made history in 2020 when she was elected as the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress.

Before winning her election, she was well-known as a community organizer and activist, helping lead the Black Lives Matter movement from its start in St. Louis.

In Congress, Representative Bush has made strides to combat housing insecurity and advance environmental justice – even protesting on the steps of the US Capitol, which led President Biden to extend the eviction moratorium.

Representative Cori Bush is a powerful progressive force in Congress and an inspirational figure for girls across the country – we’re excited to see her win reelection this November!

If you admire Representative Bush as much as we do, please sign up to volunteer for her campaign right now to ensure she continues her progressive work in Congress!

Thank you for celebrating Black History Month with us!
