A new poll found that 61% of Maryland Republicans do not believe that Joe Biden was legitimately elected president.

The divide is widening not only between Democrats and Republicans, but between reality and Donald Trump’s ‘Big Lie’. And it’s about to get worse.

The poll also found that Republicans are much more likely to support Dan Cox, an extremist conservative candidate, if they are told about his big endorsement from Donald Trump. Cox not only attended the Trump rally that led to the deadly Capitol riot on January 6th, but he even arranged tour buses for the insurrectionists. And when the elected officials at the Capitol were at risk of being overtaken by an armed mob, and lives were being taken, Dan Cox tweeted that Vice President Mike Pence was a “traitor.”

It’s clear that Trump is still the Republican leader, and he has already tapped Dan Cox to continue his toxic and backwards agenda. Will you help us make sure that Trump’s favorite candidate doesn’t become the next governor of Maryland?

Our state is at risk of having this dangerous insurrectionist as its leader. We cannot afford to have Trump 2.0 leading our state. Maryland needs to move forward, not backwards.
