I want to talk to you about an issue that’s been facing the Hartford area for decades.

The layout of our highways is actively detrimental to the development of the region – taking up land that could be better used, cutting off whole communities from their neighbors, and creating inequality. That’s why I’m so proud that Democrats were able to pass a once-in-a-generation investment to bring our infrastructure into the 21st century.

The bipartisan infrastructure law is going to send $6 billion to Connecticut. This will go straight to improving the infrastructure of our communities that need it the most.
