This was a big week for the re-election campaign! We hit two big milestones on Monday. First, we filed our latest campaign finance report and thanks to your strong support, our campaign leads the way with the most grassroots contributions of any Ward member running for re-election. We've broken every goal we set thanks to you!

Second, I went to the Board of Elections and officially picked up our nominating petitions to put my name on the June 21st ballot.

As we start this next part of the campaign, I've got two asks for folks who are ready and able to get a little more involved.

1. Help get signatures for nominating petitions. We need your help to collect hundreds of signatures of Ward 6 voters. Can you collect some from friends and neighbors on your block? Maybe you can help for an hour at a park or market? Click here and check the "I'd like to help gather signatures..." box.

2. Put a Yard Sign up: As we move into the spring, it'll be time to put up a yard sign to show your support! We have a growing list and want to add your home. Yard signs will be here in the next few weeks. Click here and check the box "I'd like a yard sign to show my support." We'll add you to the list for a delivery once the shipment arrives.

Last but not least, I'm incredibly proud to share that we picked up an early endorsement from DC for Democracy.

"We have endorsed Charles Allen in every election cycle. He has been a leader on democracy reforms ranging from Fair Elections and campaign finance reform to ranked choice voting. He has a strong record on criminal justice reforms that take a public health approach to violent crime. We also appreciate his leadership in the transformative Homes and Hearts Amendment. We look forward to continuing to work closely with him to enact our shared policy priorities."
