John, You're probably having a relaxing Friday night, but the mood in NCLCV land is elation. We just got huge news tonight that I have to share! In a landmark ruling, the state Supreme Court just finally and firmly established that every North Carolinian deserves the equal right to elect their leaders in free and fair elections. NCLCV v Hall will go down in history. Gerrymandering is unconstitutional. This is the justice we sought when we filed this lawsuit. With new, constitutional maps due in two weeks, North Carolinians will have a fighting chance to elect a government that fulfills their desire for environmental justice and climate action.
