Hello, Friends —

Today House Democrats passed legislation that helps China and hurts America. I voted NO because we beat China by outworking them and out innovating them, not by becoming more like them. Government takeover of industry and supply chain may work for the Chinese Communists, but it is no future for freedom loving Americans. To confront China we must punish their nationalized strategy of theft, tax their dirty products at our border, and expose their lies to the world. Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi can't be trusted to develop a China strategy.

LETTER TO BIDEN DEMANDS HE HONORS CONGRESS'S CONSTITUTIONAL WAR POWERS

It has long been forgotten that the United States Constitution requires that congressional approval must precede dispatching troops or declaring war against other nations. President Biden' February 2 decision to deploy 3,000 troops Eastern Europe prompts an essential reminder: Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 of the Constitution holds that Congress has the power to declare war. In accord with my role as a U.S. Congressman, I cosigned Rep. Andy Biggs's (AZ-05) letter, addressed to Joe Biden to remind him of the importance of our sacred document. While a delicate situation in Ukraine continues, it is of utmost importance to remember the separation of powers provided by the Constitution.

CONGRESSMAN GAETZ RELEASES STATEMENT ON ARMY'S DECISION TO ENFORCE VACCINE MANDATES

The Army’s decision to discharge service members due to vaccine status is unscientific and un-American. Sadly, it accelerates the Biden Regime’s continued attacks on patriots who love America and will fight for her no matter what.

Republicans must promise any discharged service member that upon retaking power we will offer full reinstatement of pay, rank, and benefits–with the deepest apologies of a grateful nation.

The Biden Military Leadership disgraces America by losing wars and losing their minds.

GOVERNOR DESANTIS AWARDS $10 MILLION TO NORTHWEST FLORIDA STATE COLLEGE

I'm excited to see that Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) is one of 5 Florida colleges to receive a $10 million grant under Governor DeSantis's career and technical education (CTE) charter school program! A new charter school will be opened at NWFSC, where students will now be able to earn their high school diploma, an Associate of Arts degree, or other technical education opportunities. Gov. DeSantis announced this on Wednesday, as part of his "Building Florida's Future" program, which I strongly commend. Investing in Floridians' education to prepare them instantly to find higher paying jobs is essential!
