In Long Beach, Robert worked to launch the Long Beach College Promise, which provides thousands of students two years of free tuition at Long Beach Community College. In Congress, Robert will fight to cancel student debt across America and fight for no-cost college for all our students.

Robert comes from an immigrant family – he worked hard and was the first person in his family to attend and graduate college, and even get a doctorate degree in education. He is fighting to make sure every student has the same opportunity to get a quality education.
