Jack, February 4 is Thank a Mail Carrier Day. This year, more than ever, our postal workers are working extremely hard amid huge staff shortages due to COVID. They are also delivering free COVID tests right to our doors!

That is why we want to take the opportunity to thank them!

The largest disaster-relief mobilization in the history of the USPS is here. This program, initiated by the Biden administration to address the coronavirus testing shortage amid the Omicron surge, gets free COVID tests sent right to our doors.

But this could not happen without our postal workers! Postal workers are packaging up the mail, not just delivering it, in this enormous operation that requires 43 facilities across the country.

This is a Herculean undertaking for postal workers who are working under staggering shortages, making the shipping program all the more challenging.
