John, last week I took the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania — it was invigorating, to say the least:

But right now, I’m even more invigorated by the support this grassroots team has shown me since we began our 2022 Digital Membership drive.

Thank you to everyone who has become a member of my team this week. Your support is fueling everything I do for Philadelphia on Council, and I’m so grateful to have you with me for the work ahead.

As we celebrate Black History Month throughout February, let us continue working together to overcome Philadelphia’s racial wealth gap, support Black and Brown businesses, and improve the lives of every Philadelphian.

You’ll hear more from me soon about my work on Council to end gun violence in our city, establish a public banking system, reform our elections and increase voter engagement.

But for now, let me just thank you for being a supporter of my work.
