That’s right: Trump wants to pardon January 6 insurrectionists. I’m not surprised, but I am concerned. Trump still has legions of GOP allies in Congress — Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Kevin McCarthy spring to mind — who are downright eager to prove their loyalty to him. One word from Trump, and they jump.

We cannot allow Trump loyalists and insurrection apologists to overrun Congress, John. I need your support to increase our Democratic majority and defend democracy from anyone seeking to tear it down, from members of the House to Jan. 6 insurrectionists to bitter ex-Presidents.
