It’s unquestionable that our country and our economy are in a much stronger place than they were a year ago. Today’s jobs numbers prove just that.

But with rallies across the country and a campaign that never seems to stop, Donald Trump has been playing Republican kingmaker and moving the entire party to one that pledges loyalty to him only. Trump’s political organization has stockpiled $122 million in cash reserves, and he’s already using it to attack Democrats with baseless lies and prop up right-wing extremists running for office up and down the ballot.

We’re fully into the election year, and we must do everything we can to protect and expand our Senate majority come November, but with Trump’s huge war-chest, it’s going to take an all-out effort.
