We ended our first month of this election year in a strong position -- and we couldn't have done it without your help.

Among our campaign's big successes in January:

We began our series of canvasses in the new IL-06, and thanks to a great turnout among energized volunteers, we've already reached thousands of voters who will help decide the June 28 primary.
We received endorsements from major progressive leaders in Congress, including Pramila Jayapal, Rashida Tlaib, Ro Khanna, and Peter DeFazio (the chair of the House Transportation Committee).
We continued to coalesce support from major unions and advocacy groups. Everytown for Gun Safety, the National Organization for Women PAC, the Cook County College Teachers Union, Indivisible, and Transport Workers Union Local 512 are among the many groups that are now behind Team Marie!
We now start February with a growing field program and wide display of local and national support. Our progressive grassroots campaign is going to be facing a lot of headwinds from political machines and special interests, but I'm more confident than ever in our momentum.

The grassroots energy that has powered us this far won't be dying down anytime soon. Voters want a champion for workers, a fair economy with opportunity and equity, and environmental justice -- and our campaign is about giving them a voice.
