The numbers are in.
- Over the last three months of 2021, Senator Kyrsten Sinema raked in $1.6 million in campaign contributions.
- It’s the most she’s raised in any quarter since she became a senator three years ago.
- And she’s not even up for reelection until 2024.
Here’s the thing:
Only a tiny fraction of that — just 2.1% — came via small contributions by everyday Americans.
Meanwhile, Sinema raked in tens of thousands from Corporate America, including Big Pharma, Big Oil, and the prison-industrial complex.
She even got checks — some as large as $5,800 — from major Republican operatives.
Sinema, of course, has repeatedly stonewalled progress on critical legislation, including President Biden’s signature Build Back Better package of investments in America’s future and commonsense measures to protect our democracy from the Republican Party’s embrace of authoritarianism.
A simple message for Senator Kyrsten Sinema:
Please remember: You were elected to represent the needs of hard-working, everyday people in Arizona, not the special interests of deep-pocketed, out-of-state corporate lobbyists and Republican mega-donors.
Add your name now.
Thank you for taking action.
For democracy,
