Friend,
On
Feb. 8, the People's Campaign for Parole Justice, a statewide grassroots coalition, will hold its second annual Parole Justice is Racial Justice (Virtual) Advocacy Day and we’re asking EVERYBODY to come.
The advocacy day will be virtual and take place from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm via Zoom. We hope you can join us for the entire day but even if you can only attend part, please

On
the heels of a difficult year, when we learned that a
person dies in NY prisons every three days — and when
we came so close to passing the Elder Parole and Fair & Timely Parole bills to help end this crisis – we need our biggest showing yet. Can you help bring our loved ones home by joining us on Feb. 8?
Can you forward this email to at least five (5) people and ask them to RSVP, too?

flyer with others:
The
People’s Campaign for Parole Justice fights for fair and meaningful release opportunities for incarcerated people in NY prisons with the primary goals of decarceration and family reunification. Through the passage of the Elder Parole and Fair & Timely Parole
bills, we will collectively ensure that every person in NY State prison has a real chance to come home. They will help to end the crisis of aging, sickness, and death in prisons, reunite families and communities, and to uproot NY's racist criminal legal system.
Thank you,
Lucas Sanchez, NYCC
