The last two years haven’t been easy for students. That’s why our Liberal government is taking action to help students get through this pandemic.

Last week, our Liberal team signed an agreement to create $10-a-day child care spaces in Nunavut, making it the 12th province and territory to sign on.

Canadian families across the country have already received the first Canada Child Benefit Payment of the year. That’s more help for nine out of 10 Canadian families to help with the rising costs of raising children.

Celebrating Black History Month

February is an important moment to honour and recognize the legacy of Black Canadians, and reflect on the many contributions they’ve made to building a better Canada.

Together, we’re continuing our work together to create a better and more inclusive Canada. Our Liberal government will continue to work with Black Canadian communities to combat systemic anti-Black racism, support Black economic empowerment, help promote mental health and wellness within Black communities, and end discrimination in all of its forms.
