Coming out against the filibuster was a risky decision. I knew the moment I supported abolishing the filibuster, right-wing groups would start flooding Ohio with cash and slamming our campaign with nasty attacks.

But it was the right thing to do. What’s the point of having a Democratic majority if we can’t accomplish anything? I’m proud of my decision and I won’t let anything stand in the way of delivering for hardworking Ohioans.

Abolishing the filibuster is the right thing to do, but it makes us especially vulnerable to right-wing attacks.
