You may have seen on the news that yesterday the Governor signed into law new district lines for Congress, the State Senate, and the State Assembly, all drafted in accordance with the process laid out in the state constitution. The district boundaries may be changing, but what isn’t going to change one bit is my commitment to go to Albany and fight for a New York that is fair, safe, affordable, and gives everyone an opportunity to thrive.

This won’t be easy. The change in district lines means that I have to spend a lot of time, effort, and resources campaigning in the new neighborhoods of the district I hope to represent next year. That means I have to knock on new doors, call new voters, and engage with new constituents.
You know all too well that we’re up for this challenge. Together, we’ve proven that no one out-works or out-hustles Team Gounardes. We are going to compete in every neighborhood of the newly drawn district and make the case for why I should go back to Albany and champion the working-class and middle-class families that are the backbone of New York.
Before the campaign kicks off in earnest, we need to shore up our support and make sure we have the resources we need to win big. Will you help make sure we get off on the right foot by contributing today?
