Sometimes it seems hard to believe, but 12 weeks from this morning, we should know who won the Iowa Caucus.

That is not a lot of time.

So with that in mind, I want to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign today — and to explain why this request is so important.

The truth is, your small-dollar donations have given us a financial advantage. And you’ve seen us put that advantage to work running ads and expanding staff, not just in Iowa but in a lot of states.

As a result, you’ve seen us take the lead in a few early state polls and close the gap nationally.

And if we can sustain that advantage while keeping up the volunteer enthusiasm and action, we are likely to win. We are likely to see — 12 weeks from this morning — that Bernie Sanders won the Iowa Caucus. So we need to ask:

Can you make a contribution to our campaign today? If we can maintain the financial advantage we have right now, we are going to win Iowa, and we are going to win this primary.
