Team,

Last month Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced that he is retiring from the Supreme Court after more than 27 years of serving on the bench. Justice Breyer was pivotal in defending our voting rights, marriage equality, reproductive rights, and health care access.

Justice Breyer's retirement means that President Biden has an opportunity to nominate a judge to the Supreme Court. Mitch McConnell is unsurprisingly already threatening to block President Biden's nomination.

Add your name if you think the Senate should hold a fair consideration process once President Biden names a nominee.

It's been over ten years since Democrats have had an opportunity to appoint a Supreme Court justice. Donald Trump appointed three conservative Supreme Court justices during his presidency, and we now have a 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

The future of the Supreme Court depends on President Biden's nomination. With the fate of Roe v. Wade , voting rights, affordable health care, and more hanging in the balance, we can't afford to miss this opportunity.

Sign on to our petition to tell Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans they have a duty to the American people to hold a fair consideration process for the next Supreme Court nominee.
