Dear Democrat:
2 cents a year. That’s what it costs each registered Democrat in Broward County to run our local party.
But it's not realistic to try to collect 22 cents from every Democrat in the county.
First, some just don’t have it to give. They work hard, they play by the rules, but they still struggle. 22 cents isn’t a lot but to some, but to others it may mean buying medicine or food.
Second, the credit card charges would bankrupt us.
