Did you see the front page news about AG Josh Stein yesterday from Stateline, an initiative of The Pew Charitable Trusts?
"As national politics becomes more polarized..." Stateline writes, "attention has increasingly turned to the states, where... attorneys general are stepping up, particularly on consumer issues where the federal government has largely stepped away."
Josh is making news around the country for his fight on behalf of North Carolinians, whether it's:
- holding drug manufacturers and distributors accountable for creating and fueling the opioid epidemic,
- cracking down on robocalls,
- investigating big tech companies for harming consumers,
- suing Juul for targeting teens, and
- opposing the Trump Administration's efforts to terminate the Affordable Care Act, eliminate the DACA program, and undermine the Clean Power Plan.
Stateline writes that Josh's "activism stands out, even among his peers."
