Breaking: “A PAC formed last year by House Democrats to combat progressive primary challengers has so far relied almost exclusively on corporate PACs and lobbyists for its funding.” (Sludge, February 1, 2022)
Team Blue PAC was created with the sole purpose of stopping progressives from winning their primaries against corporate Democrat incumbents. You know, like my opponent Derek Kilmer: the 15th most conservative Democrat in the House.
It doesn’t matter to “team blue” that Kilmer voted for Trump’s favorite policies.
It doesn’t matter that single-payer healthcare is in the WA Democratic Party’s platform and Kilmer opposes it.
All that matters is protecting their power.
Well, I’m running for Congress because I believe that in the richest country on Earth, no one should be hungry, homeless, without healthcare, or in poverty. The planet shouldn’t be burning while Chevron Democrats like Kilmer oppose the Green New Deal.
