First and foremost, I want to thank you for being a part of this campaign—I mean it when I say that we can’t win this thing without you.

But, folks, I’m coming to you with a bit of bad news: we came up short on January’s fundraising goal.

I’m not going to lie, this one stings. Missing our first critical goal of 2022 really puts us in a vulnerable position heading into this all-important election year.

If we’re going to overcome the GOP’s millions and stop Mitch McConnell, we cannot afford to fall behind again. Can you help me out by chipping in $28 before midnight to help us make up for this temporary lapse?

Republicans are pouring tens of millions of dollars into Ohio, trying to buy this Senate seat so that they can keep lining their pockets. They don’t give a damn about working families.

This race can go one of two ways: either we lose and hand over the Senate majority to McConnell, or we flip this seat, expand our majority, and finally pass some legislation.

That all depends on you, Team.

If we can make up the difference in the next 24 hours, we can erase our deficit and get back on track. Can I count on you to step up and chip in $28 now? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.
