Last week, Perry Johnson, another self-funding candidate, entered the crowded Republican gubernatorial primary race. And he’s prepared to spend at least as much as the $10 million candidate Kevin Rinke has committed to his campaign.
Just like the rest of the wrong-for-Michigan field, Johnson will have to answer the same tough questions that many others in the race for governor continue to avoid, including what his plans are for infrastructure and education.
And while they’re avoiding the tough questions, Governor Whitmer has been hard at work producing results – rebuilding the Michigan economy, making the largest investment in K-12 education in our state’s history without raising taxes, fixing the damn roads, and cutting costs for everyday Michiganders.
