John, big businesses and wealthy donors shouldn’t have a bigger say in Philadelphia’s political process than everyone else — that’s why Derek has been working since 2006 to establish publicly financed elections in our city.
Now, through his newly introduced five-part ethics and elections reform plan, Derek is closer than ever to making publicly financed elections a reality for Philadelphia.

Original Message from Team Green:
John, Derek just introduced Philadelphia’s “most ambitious ethics and election reform package in years,” according to The Philadelphia Inquirer:
This five-part plan — the Civics Legislative Agenda — is aimed at boosting local election turnout, reforming our campaign finance rules, ending corruption, and making it easier for every Philadelphian to vote.
John, only about 1 in every 4 Philadelphia voters participates in municipal elections. To keep our city moving forward we must bring more people into the political process.
Do you agree with Derek that we must reform Philadelphia’s elections, increase voter turnout, and make it easier to vote? Then become a 2022 Digital Member of Derek’s campaign by donating now to help him continue this work:
