Updates from across the Foundation

Building upon a lifetime of public service, our programs and partnerships work to expand economic opportunity, improve public health, confront the climate crisis, and inspire citizen engagement and service. Here are a few recent updates from our work:

* OUR NEXT CGI UNIVERSITY MEETING ANNOUNCED:  CGI University (CGI U) is teaming up with the American Association of Community Colleges to bring together hundreds of student leaders to address global challenges at the 2022 CGI U Annual Meeting.

* FAITH LEADERS AS A BRIDGE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE OVERDOSE CRISIS: “Very often, when people are going through crises, they turn to their faith leaders for guidance — for hope.” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution covers how we’re working with faith leaders to fight substance use disorders and the overdose crisis through the Overdose Response Network.

This week, President Clinton, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and The Centre for Responsible Leadership convened leaders from the science and faith communities to explore new solutions for supporting those struggling with addiction and stemming the tide of the U.S. overdose crisis.
