Folks, I’ve HAD IT with the filibuster.

This outdated procedure allows a single Senator to hold bills hostage and obstruct the will of the people who elected them.

Plain and simple, the filibuster is anti-democratic and needs to go.

Coming out against the filibuster was a risky decision. But it was the right thing to do. Right now, Democrats have a Senate majority, but because of the filibuster, we can’t get anything done.

Abolishing the filibuster means finally being able to pass essential, popular legislation like the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and Build Back Better—things hardworking folks across the country are counting on us to deliver.
