Team,

The right to vote is one of our most sacred rights as Americans, but ever since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act of 1965, our voting rights have been under attack.

After record-level voter turnout in 2020, Republican state legislatures responded by passing voter suppression bills across the country -- disproportionately targeting people of color -- to make it harder to vote. In 2021, more than 440 voter restriction bills were introduced in 49 states, and at least 34 voter suppression laws were passed.

National Republicans are still fanning the flames of Trump's "Big Lie" about voter fraud to pass more and more voting restrictions.

Last month, the House passed the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act to safeguard voting rights by restoring the protections of the Voting Rights Act of 1964. But the bill died on the Senate floor, and we're running out of time to protect our voting rights

We have to defend voting rights to preserve the future of our democracy. Will you add your name to join Seth in calling on the Senate to take immediate action to protect voting rights?

Voting rights are foundational to our democracy, and national Republicans have made it clear they're willing to sacrifice our rights if it helps them win. If people can't exercise their right to vote, our democracy is broken.

Our democracy only works when people can make their voices heard and elect leaders who will fight for them. Seth is ready to fight for voting rights in Congress, but he needs you by his side, team.

If you agree we need federal action now to protect voting rights, add your name today.

Team Seth
