One of the main reasons I’m in this fight is because I know the issues that are hitting Ohioans the hardest. As someone who has lived here almost my whole life, and raised a family here, I know we have some serious work to do to make sure that we’re moving forward, especially when it comes to health care.

It's easy to look at the gridlock in Washington and think that things will never change for ordinary Americans, but we have proof that that's just not true.

We’ve done it before. We have made serious strides in getting tens of millions of people healthcare and it's all because leaders in Washington had the guts to do it .

What I believe is simple: we absolutely have to reduce the cost of prescription drug prices, and create a single-payer health care system. Too many people are going without healthcare because they simply cannot afford it, and in a global pandemic, enough is enough.

But first, we need to stop Jim Jordan and his Republican friends taking away health care from Americans.

I promise to work day in and day out to help build a single-payer system that works for all of us. So, are you on board to help me get to Washington and help me fight for everyday workers and families? [[link removed]]
