We have some news for you John: we just barely missed our January fundraising goal. That means we have to play catch up this month to make sure we stay on track to re-elect Laura in November.

But since February is the shortest month of the year, we have our work cut out for us.

This isn't the news we wanted to share with you today, but we need to turn our fundraising around before it's too late. Help us kick-off February on the right foot with a donation of $5 or more today.

Our extreme opponent has the backing of national dark money groups who have made defeating Laura their top priority. And they've already launched ads attacking Laura's record. We can't risk our fundraising falling further behind -- our opponent could see it as a sign of weakness.

We're planning on increasing our campaign spending this month. If we fall further behind, we'll have to start thinking of places we can cut our budget -- and it's too early in the cycle to think about that.

Make a donation of $5 or more today -- your donation will help us power this campaign forward to Election Day.
