My name is Cameron Anderson. I’m the new Deputy Finance Director at the Minnesota DFL, and I wanted to reach out to introduce myself. As a born and raised Minnesotan, I’m excited to be working to make sure that our entire DFL team has the resources to keep up their critical work. 

There is so much at stake in November – from combating climate change to defending voting rights, and of course, protecting women’s health care access. Virtually every single one of Governor Walz’s GOP opponents is staunchly anti-choice. And Minnesota Republican legislators have already made their intentions unmistakably clear by introducing a Texas-style abortion ban on the very first day of the 2022 Minnesota legislative session.

John, I’ll be frank: If the MN GOP takes the Governor’s office this November and a restrictive anti-choice bill makes it to their desk, that’s it. 

Our organizing team has already put together a plan to expand their early voter outreach targets and make sure voters understand how serious this threat is, but we still need to raise at least $19,500 by Friday to get it off the ground.
