Last week, surrounded by family and friends, it was announced that I’d been re-elected as mayor of Charlotte! This couldn’t have happened without you, and I’m thankful for your vote, your time and your donations. For every t-shirt won and yard sign placed within the community, I would not have the opportunity to yet again serve the Queen City without your help. 

 

I’ll begin my term in December as the first Charlotte mayor to be re-elected to a second tenure in nearly a decade. With this opportunity finally comes stability and continuity in the mayor’s office that will allow us to truly focus on the issues that matter most. Reducing crime in our great city while also bringing better-paying jobs, more affordable housing and better transportation mobility to Charlotte are top priorities I’ll be focusing on to ensure that the Queen City is safe and equitable for all people. 

 

Thank you again for believing in me and my vision for our city.  I am so grateful, yet so proud, to continue to serve as your mayor of Charlotte.
