Hi,

Perhaps the most important thing we can do to mitigate the endless overproduction and consumption of clothing is to educate people about the impact of the apparel business on the planet and what it means for the consumer.

The next Earth Day Live virtual event, Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder, Part II, will address the designers who are changing the culture of fashion by creating clothing that is not only beautiful but sustainable. Tune in on February 10th at 12PM EST to hear these experts explore the challenge the industry faces: demonstrating that sustainable fashion is both desirable and within reach.

Join us for the live event.

The event will be approximately 1 hour and hosted on Twitter, FacebookYouTube, LinkedIn, and on our webpage. By RSVP'ing, you'll receive a reminder on the day with a link to view the event.

Current panelists include:

  • Anyango Mpinga — Founder and Creative Director, Anyango Mpinga
  • Jordan Nordase — Founder and Creative Director, Boyish Jeans
  • Dana Davis —  Vice President of Sustainability, Product and Business Strategy at Mara Hoffman
  • Shona Quinn — Director, Social Consciousness at Eileen Fisher
  • Kerry Bannigan (Moderator) — Executive Director, Fashion Impact Fund and Co-Founder, Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network

Fashion can be beautiful, stylish, and good for the planet. Join us for the next Earth Day Live to learn how four top apparel designers have mastered the art of sustainable fashion.

For the planet,
