As Christian Nationalists work overtime to recruit and install pro-Trump sycophants to elected office, there’s something free and easy you can do to help counter these forces.

Let me explain real quick.

Right now, atheists and humanists who hold elected office face prejudice and attacks from religious-backed entities. We’ve seen this most recently as angry mobs of Christian Nationalists attack school board members for doing their job defending the teaching of history, preventing book bans, and enforcing mask mandates.

We actively work to support these elected officials, to back them up, and encourage them so they will continue to hold firm and seek re-election. Here is a list of the atheists and humanist elected officials we know. We work hard to support elected officials who identify with our community, but there are many champions unknown to us at the local level, who are taking on a torrent of Christian Nationalist fueled rage.
