Right now, the Supreme Court is in the midst of deciding an abortion rights case that could overturn Roe v. Wade.
We cannot return to an era before Roe — an era of unsafe, illegal, and inaccessible abortions. An era that will disproportionately impact people of color and low-income communities.
As Co-Chair of the Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus, I won’t leave this up to the conservative-majority Supreme Court, which is why I helped pass the Women’s Health Protection Act in the House — a bill that codifies Roe and the right to reproductive care.
Now, the bill is waiting on a vote in the Senate — and I’m asking you to join me in putting the pressure on the Senate to pass the bill by any means necessary before it’s too late.
