Just before his 2020 defeat, Donald Trump forced the US Fish and Wildlife Service to remove Gray Wolves from the Endangered Species List, erasing the protections that had allowed this incredible species to make a modest - if fragile - recovery over the past few years. 

Just as Gerry led the fight to clean up toxic coal ash in the Chesapeake, he is pushing Congress and the Biden Administration to reverse all of Trump's environmentally catastrophic decisions. Gray Wolves used to roam great swathes of our nation, but their range has been consistently eroded by human development, farming, and ranching, leaving them with a tiny fraction of their original range.
