Race, Place, And Structural Racism: A Review Of Health And History In Washington, DC Monday,
February 7, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. ET
Health Affairs will host a salon-style discussion of how structural racism and historical events socially, economically, and politically disenfranchised Black residents in the District of Columbia, yielding stark differences in health outcomes by race and place.
Moderated by Amanda Michelle Gomez of DC public radio station WAMU, the panel will include Georgetown University Professor Christopher King—the author of the study in the event title, and Health Affairs Editor-in-Chief Alan Weil.
