President Biden needs to keep his word. So much is at stake.

Dear John,

It’s Groundhog Day, and many of us feel like we’ve been reliving the same day over and over since the start of the pandemic. It’s been almost two years and it feels like there’s no end in sight.

It's the same day in and day out for parents and child care providers. We are forced to choose between the impossible decision of working so we can provide for our children, or being the person that cares for them throughout the day. A lot of us have to do both. All the while Congress continues to play political games.

We're at a breaking point.

Tell Congress to ACT NOW

Tell Congress you support robust funding for our families and communities through passing Build Back Better!

TAKE ACTION

Build Back Better would give parents and child care providers essential support and be a stabilizing force in a chaotic pandemic.

If passed, it will:

  • Save most American families more than half of their spending on child care.
  • Deliver two years of free preschool for every 3- and 4-year-old in the United States.
  • Give more than 35 million families a major tax cut by extending the expanded Child Tax Credit while cutting poverty in half.
  • Provide support for millions of families struggling to make this month’s rent And so much more.

The only way out of this endless loop is through legislative action that provides child care workers, women, and working families the support they need to get by. Will you join us in telling Congress to take action?

It’s time for Congress to do their jobs, keep their promises, and put their money where their mouth is. We’re tired of living the same day over and over.

Congress must do the right thing and work to pass Build Back Better.

In solidarity,

Anna Chu
