I wanted to reach out to say thank you and share some fantastic news!
First off, we hit our January fundraising goal. That was great news, and we could not have done it without the outpouring of grassroots support from people across the country. But that’s not even the best news!
We also learned that our campaign not only outraised every Republican in this race last quarter, but we raised more than our top two opponents, Ted Budd and Pat McCrory, combined.
It is abundantly clear that North Carolinians are tired of status quo politicians and are backing our campaign and the change we can deliver together.
This is just the start. There’s a lot more work ahead of us. But in a year that pundits want to say will be hard for Democrats, we are proving that the momentum and enthusiasm are behind us. Our unity and ability to lay the groundwork for victory in North Carolina are a huge advantage while Republicans attack each other and race to the bottom.
Together, we can flip this seat in November and deliver meaningful progress for our families.
