Thank you so much for your support in reaching my January end of month budget goal. With redistricting looming and our reelection year under way, your donations give Team MGS the resources we need for the fights to come. After soaring past our goal I’m full of hope and commitment to continue the fight.

Speaking of hope, today is St. Brigid’s Day, a traditional Irish holiday honoring Ireland’s only female Patron Saint. St. Brigid was a woman of many talents - being Ireland’s patron saint of poetry, and reputedly performing a miracle by turning bath water into beer. Her feast day marks the beginning of spring, and is a celebration of promise, creativity, and good things to come.

Two years ago, I had the great honor of joining the Library of Congress and the Irish Embassy in DC for a Women In Leadership event on St. Brigid's Day. You can watch the full event here. St. Brigid’s day reminds me of the power of optimism, and the importance of women in leadership.

Did you know that one in five people in PA-05 claim Irish Ancestry—including myself? The United States of America truly is a melting pot of traditions and cultures. Thank you for allowing me to share with you some of mine 💚

Sincerely,

Mary Gay
