I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude for our grassroots team right now, and I want to be the first to share some exciting news:

Not only did we surpass our fundraising goal for January, but during the 4th Quarter of 2021 we outraised the entire combined GOP field in NC-14. Our campaign has now officially raised more than $1 million from 30,000 grassroots donations.

Seriously, friend, I’m blown away and deeply grateful. It’s never been clearer that folks are ready to send real leadership to Washington.

Madison Cawthorn’s plan for an extremist takeover does not represent who we are in WNC, and our fundraising numbers prove that – right now, thanks to you, our campaign has more cash-on-hand than Cawthorn. This matters because Cawthorn is now hinting that he may re-file to run in our district – if he is deemed eligible to hold office after his current legal battles.

We’ve been saying this since the beginning – grassroots organizing and fundraising is how we’re going to win this race. It’s helped me win in the past, and it will help us win now.

I’m so proud of the work we’re doing together to lead with love, hope, and empathy. And we need to kick it into gear if we want to keep our momentum.
